Scrap books

I've moved all of the pictures, articles, bits of stimulus for ideas that I've driven my wife mad by tearing out of newspapers and magazines over the years into books over the summer.  I had a couple of days of cutting and sticking and now have three books... one for curriculum ideas, one for the school building and environment, one with facts, and figures, and opinions... that I can now just stick pictures/ideas straight in.  Then, when I come to curriculum review and re-design... I've got a book of pictures to draw on, not a drawer full of random articles, ditto building development, ditto when I want a particular quote.  The blogs help with this too... and become part of that armoury of resources that, as teachers and School Leaders, we draw together around us.  My next thing is printing pictures out from my phone... because there's loads of pictures on there of interesting things I've seen that would translate into the school context.
